I’m currently working on a project where I need to programmatically download meeting transcripts (.vtt files) using Zoom’s API. The issue usually occurs during the process of a user joining a session when the host ends the session. There is indeed a scenario where the meeting is ended, which is unrelated to the client.init method but rather to the client.join method. I am having the same issue for the exception it is not showing up in my apps I am trying to remove this app from my Zoom account, but am struggling to find the “Apps on Account” tab/page.
Read.ai joins private meetings that are not recorded due to security and privacy reasons. I contacted Read.ai support team, and they refused to delete my account. This morning, I discovered that no recording file was created or saved. In your instance, I would enable both to best ensure only certain people have access to the meeting.
Why My Zoom Not Working On Mobile data?
There are many threads and support articles on this. They have asked us to help make the meetings more secure so that students can’t share links to their friends who have not paid for the class. DescriptionWe have created a Zoom solution that allows our customers (fitness businesses) to create virtual classes. Thank you for your prompt reply.Do you know if support for retrieving AI Call Summaries via Server-to-Server OAuth (account-level) is available now, or if it might be on the roadmap for future updates?
Join meeting error after host ends the session
The Join Token allows you to join meetings without authentication requirements, but it will fail when “require authentication to join” is enabled (as you’ve seen with error code 23) Zak token is to join a meeting on behalf of a user right.? I really appreciate the historical context and background information you provided about HTTP clients, redirects, and how the handling of passwords and tokens has evolved over time. This error suggests that despite passing the download_access_token, there’s still a permissions issue tied to the host role. Read.ai has appeared in multiple of our meetings and I am being forced to manually deny it.
Hey @Valentina are you still running into this issue? They want me to log in, and I can’t, as their app is not even allowed by my admin. Hi,Please help me remove Read.ai from my account. Feel free to post your issue there, you will be able to get some help there! Also for the Restrict Participant access thread, the links have been broken with the new updates to the Zoom site.
Recording wasn’t created & cannot be found
I never signed up with Read.ai so I can’t go to that account to disable it. And it still says it was invited by one of our internal users. So, blocking Read.AI worked if we are the ones that run the meeting. Has anyone else faced this issue? Checked for Zoom app updates—it’s up to date.
Zoom Meeting API – Zoom Developers
Hi @kkempin @suzanna @blinas @julien1I created a support ticket on your behalf, you should hear back from our team soon. Please make sure to follow up with them Hey @jphil16 and @debbiechurchI created a support ticket on your behalf, you should hear back from our team soon. Please make sure to follow up with them Hi @elisa.zoom , our organization has the same issue – can you please assist in completely removing read.ai and blocking it to all users of account? Hopefully there is a better fix than creating an individual support ticket for each case as this is clearly an issue for many users. But somehow this bot is showing up if we are invited to a zoom meeting by an external zoom account.
- The way you connected security considerations with the behavior of modern HTTP clients (like curl and Microsoft’s .NET client) was particularly insightful and gave me a better understanding of what’s happening under the hood.
- I’m not super familiar with curl but I’m pretty sure there’s an option you can specify to authorize the token to be forwarded when following the HTTP 307 redirect.
- Checked for Zoom app updates—it’s up to date.
- Hi @elisa.zoom , Our institution just had the same issue occur.

Meeting join token not working in zoom meeting linux sdk
Registration and meeting authentication are two separate settings and are not dependent upon one another. This can be enabled by meeting and not for the whole account? The user would not be able to join the meeting.
Remove "Read AI" from account
- It is not added, and has never been approved in our App Marketplace dashboard.
- I did find it in the other meeting headless linux sample template repo though which may be what you’re referring to based on the screenshot you shared?
- Has anyone faced a similar issue or have insights on how to work around this limitation?
- I am trying to remove this app from my Zoom account, but am struggling to find the “Apps on Account” tab/page.
- Has anyone else faced this issue?
- One thing to mention is that join tokens are not authorization tokens and to join a meeting that requires login, you’d need to supply a ZAK token.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated—I really need Zoom to work on mobile data for my meetings on the go. When I create a meeting through zoom ui, I can see the survey at the end of the meeting. I create a meeting using api and enabled survey in settings. For your bot to join a meeting with this setting, you must use a ZAK token alongside the JWT, not just the Client ID, Client Secret, and meeting URL. Is the purpose of join-token option in sdk is to allow a bot to a meeting with mandatory login option enabled.? @amanda-recallai It didn’t work as in the meeting setting I have enabled “require authentication to join” option for the meeting that my bot is trying to join .
I’ve read through this disturbing thread and realize that we can’t figure out how to get rid of it, either. Can you please open a ticket for me? It is concerning that this could happen so easily to many people, come on Zoom! I also don’t have the app in my Zoom settings.
Would appreciate any insight into whether this functionality is available now or potentially on the roadmap. I’ve noticed that ai_call_summary_id appears in the call log details, but I can’t find any documented endpoint to retrieve the summary content itself.
